Description
In HDF, to produce RFID labels we use special direct thermal and thermal transfer papers, which meet the EU requirements. RFID tags contain a chip with antenna that allows collection of data and their broadcasting out to the appropriate readers. Communication with RFID readers is done by radio. Programming labels are using barcode printers contain programmer. To program RFID labels we use barcode printers with programmer.

The labels produced by the HDF can be used one time, to mark the boxes or retail products, or may be used repeatedly, for example, to identify the return containers. These types of labels are used primarily for the tracking of containers and goods in logistics chain and in warehouse management.

On RFID labels we can:

In HDF offer we have a wide selection of RFID labels like:

Passive labels that do not have their own power source. These types of labels are activated by electromagnetic waves from a reader. The advantage of these labels is their low price, they are much cheaper compared to active labels. The disadvantage is that this type of labels can be read or write only from relatively short distances, up to several meters.

Active labels, this type of labels have their own power source (battery) As a result, it is possible to achieve a significantly more powerful signal transmitted from active labels compared with passive labels. The disadvantage of these labels, compared to passive tags, is their larger size and much higher price.

In HDF offer we have 3 types of labels:

  • Label- type R/O (Read/Only) - it is not possible to record any additional information.
  • Label- type Worm (Write Once Read Many Times) allows a one-time entry of data.
  • Label- type R/W (Read/Write) - allow multiple entry of data.
