HDF Laundry 2007 application supports the laundry management accepting the large quantities of garment from institutional customers. At present, with comparison to other available applications this is the most technologically advanced application for large and medium-sized laundries. It combines the latest reliable technologies, it is compatible with automatic identification system, has wide functionality and customized solutions.

Compatibility with barcode system or RFID system

Our application works according to automatic identification systems (barcodes, RFID) which automates acceptance and collecting the garment and improves the laundry management. The application generates a variety of reports and lists.

Basic version of HDF Laundry 2007 application consists of two parts - application for PC computer and terminal (HDF Laundry 2007 TRM) application which is compatible with standard Motorola/Symbol MC3000 terminal. On demand, the application is compatible with other Motorola/Symbol terminals. Terminal application has three basic functions: acceptance to laundry, collecting, status change.

Compatibility with RFID system

For more demanding customers we provide radio identification system based on RFID technology system (Radio Frequency Identification). This technology allows the remote reading and data saving, flow control of garment accepted for cleaning on the basis of radio waves.

HDF' regular offer provides all parts of RFID system like transponders, readers and antennas. RFID's laundry tags are very tiny, safe even for the most delicate fabrics (with no sharp edges), resistant to multiple washing (even using heavy detergents). Every time the system meets customer's individual expectations.

Appliance

HDF Laundry 2007 application is aimed for small, medium-sized and large laundries and for institutional customers. The application runs on the basis of barcode system which speeds up and improves the laundry management. HDF Laundry 2007 is a multifunctional network application. It means that it can be used by many users at the same time.

Here is how the application of barcode system works:

• The worker who accepts the garment for cleaning scans the attached labels. After putting the terminal to the communication dock, automatic transfer of data into the computer follows. The application registers the acceptance of garment. Acceptance registration includes basic information as regards: code of the worker who accepts the garment, type and size of accepted garment and their status. In case the time of garment use is due the application automatically generates the window reminding about the necessary exchange.

• After cleaning, label scanning speeds up the access to information on where the given object is located and where it should be put.

• Bring the garment the customer needs from the place indicated by the application and next scan the labels - the application compares whether the collected garment matches the garment which was accepted, records the collection and changes garment status.

Functions

• Data import/export to/from the terminal.

• Defining frequency of garment exchange - when the time of using the garment is due, the application automatically generates a reminder of necessary exchange.

• Data import/export to/from external database - all data collected in the system can be imported or exported from/to various database, text files, etc.

• Defining the users which allow only authorized users to have access to the application.

• Defining laundry customers - with this application every customer has his own specific identification code. This kind of code is generated automatically or manually. In addition, particular workers are assigned to particular companies that is the laundry customers (users of the garment). Each of them is given an individual code. It is ideal for fast orientation process as you can view whose garment was accepted, needs repair or exchange.

• Clothes classification. Acceptance / Collection of garment is classified automatically. The application generates the list on the number and type of garment accepted from a given customer.

• Status function - accepted/collected garment can be given status (e.g. damaged, for repair etc.)

• History of operations - all operations under the application are registered and saved. Thanks to it we have easy access to detailed information as regards e.g. worker who gave the customer the particular garment, how many times the garment was washed, its status and when the status was changed, etc.

• Printing labels on garment - with this application you can print the labels with encoded information of the garment (type of garment) and the customer and the worker using the given clothing. Thanks to these data the garment is identified and includes additional information about garment's localization, status or size.

• Reporting - the application generates various reports and lists. They help to control the laundry management and issue the bills for customers. Reports recognize various criteria e.g. how many and what kind of garment was washed for the particular customer in a given time, how many times the given clothing was washed, number of repairs, etc.

• Fast access to all information, thanks to advanced search engine with all criteria defined in application. For example user search engine recognizes the criteria like: name, surname, login or code. Garment are searched according to the following criteria: code, type, size, localization (locker number, box number), customer, worker, owner, status, washing, repair, damage, since when it has been in circulation, predicted exchange date (time of usage).
