Use of the application cooperating with a bar code system

• An employee receiving clothes for cleaning scans the labels on the clothing. After putting the terminal back into a communication dock, the data are automatically transferred to a computer. The program records the reception of the clothes. The reception record includes basic information i.e. the codes of the employee receiving the clothes and the customer ordering the cleaning, type and size of the clothes received, their condition and status. If the expiry date of any of the clothes has passed, the program automatically generates a window with a reminder to replace them.
  
  
• After the cleaning, scanning the label allows for quick access to the information on a given item localization and where it should be placed.
  
  
• In order to return the clothes to the customer, they should be brought from the place identified by the program, and then scan the labels – the program will compare whether the clothes being returned match the received ones and will register the return and change the clothes status.

• Data import / export from/to a terminal
• Defining the frequency of clothes replacement – when the expiry date of a given item of clothing is approaching, the program automatically generates a reminder of the necessity of replacing.
• Data import/export to/from external databases – all data stored in the system can be imported or exported from/to various databases, text files, etc.
• Defining the users, thanks to this, only authorised persons have access to the program.
• Defining laundry customers – the program allows for assigning each customer a specific code, on the basis of which they will be identified. Such a code may be generated automatically or manually. Apart from that, companies – the laundry customers, may have particular employees (clothes users) assigned. Each of them can also have an individual code assigned. It allows for quick orientation – thanks to which it is immediately known whose clothes have been received to the laundry, whose requires replacement, and whose only needs repairing.
• Clothes grouping. Received / given out clothes are grouped automatically. The program generates a list with the information on how many clothes of what kind have been received from a given customer.
• Granting statuses – received / given out clothes can be granted statuses (e.g. damaged, requires repairing, etc.)
• Operation history – all operations performed in the program are registered and recorded. Thanks to that you can have access to detailed and complete information, e.g. which employee and when gave out a chosen item to a given customer, how many times a given item has been washed, when its status was changed and into what, etc.
• Printing clothes labels – the program allows for printing labels where the information is coded on the item of clothing (clothes type) as well as the customer and the employee using a given item. On the basis of these data the clothing is identified and in the program you can find additional information about it e.g. localization, status, size.
• Reporting – the program generates various reports and lists. On their basis you can analyse the laundry work and issue invoices for the customers. The reports can present a lot of different criteria, e.g. how many and what clothes have been washed for a given customer in a specific period of time, how many times an item has been washed, the number of repairs performed, etc.
• Quick access to all information, thanks to an advanced search engine taking into account all criteria defined in the program. For example, users' search engine considers the following criteria: first name, surname, login, code. Clothes can be searched for according to the following criteria: code, type, size, localization (locker number, box number), customer, employee, owner, status, washing, repairs, damages, date of putting into circulation, predicted date of replacement (length of use).
