System for verifying order quantities

Before sending the a parts order to their customer, the employee places the completed order in the control area, and then scans the barcodes from the order using the barcode reader. The scanned codes are sent to the system, which treats the data obtained as master data. From that point forward, the process of automatic barcode scanning of labels on products in the control zone begins. The data obtained through scanning is also sent to the system, which compares it with the data from the order.

The implementation of the system for the client at their fulfillment centre, solved the problem of returns and complaints resulting from the incorrect completion of orders. The system enables the user to verify the conformity of goods in the control zone with goods actually ordered by the customer in terms of the type and quantity of goods, as well as shortages in the order and of goods that are in the control zone, even though they did not appear on the order. The employee is informed about the occurrence of irregularities in the order prepared for transport, by an appropriate message displayed on the screen of the barcode reader.
