Purpose: The purpose of our program is to dynamically (serially) produce barcodes from a text file or Excel sheet and save them to a directory of your choice in a graphical format.

How does the program for serial production of barcodes work?

1. Select the data source.

After entering the program, a dialog box appears on the screen for you, where in the first step you should indicate the data source that contains the information that should be encoded in the barcode. The data source can be a text file (.txt) or an Excel sheet (.xls).

2. Select output folder.

In the next step, select the folder on your computer where you want the dynamically generated barcodes to be saved.

If you want, you can check automatic overwriting of existing files at this point - if this option is disabled, the system will not overwrite the existing file, it will just skip it. This is helpful if you want to avoid overwriting previously generated barcode files.

3. Select the format and type of barcode.

Once the program knows where to get the data to create barcodes from and where to save them, all that's left is to choose the type of barcodes and the format in which to save them in your catalog. You have as many as 114 types of barcodes to choose from, including Code 128, code 39, Data Matrix, QR Code and many, many more. The formats in which you can save the barcode as a graphic are .jpg, .png, .bmp, .eps, .gif, .tiff, .pcl.

After completing these steps, click the generate button, and the information placed in the file of your choice will be included in the barcodes, which will save automatically on your computer. You don't have to make each barcode separately, because the program does it for you in seconds!
