Barcode verification system
Label printout management
Try our reliable barcode verifier system that will help you prevent printing wrong labels.
Barcode quality control system
In our store you will find printers with barcode verifiers that check the quality of barcodes already at the level of label printing. However, to make your assurance of correctness even greater, we have prepared a solution to verify all barcodes on the label and exchange data with the label printer and your systems (e.g. ERP or MES) to then generate a detailed print report for you.
Most barcode verifiers and printers with verifiers detect the codes themselves and analyze them. However, what about the case where the barcode is so deformed that it resembles nothing more than a black spot placed on the label? Are you sure that your verifier will detect it and submit it for validation?
Unfortunately, most verifiers, even those built into the printer, overlook such codes and consider them as just another graphic element, such as an icon, and as a result mark the label as correct, which then goes to your customer.
Example of deformed barcodes

So how do you prevent erroneous barcodes that can cost your company a lot?
To make sure that the barcode verifier finds all the codes on the label, you need to communicate to it that the labels you print should contain a specific code, in specific quantities. To do this, you need our system to manage label printing and barcode verification. Our application will "communicate" to the verifier that there should be, for example, 3 GS1-128 barcodes on each label. Then the verifier will not only check the quality of the printed barcodes, but also verify their number and type with the order you gave. If the verifier does not detect all 3 GS1-128 codes, the label will be considered wrong and printed, and you will be assured that the label will not reach the customer.
How does our barcode verification system work?
1. our application connects to your system and label printer with built-in code verifier, so we have the ability to exchange data directly. We exchange data with Oracle, SAP or SQL Server based systems (such as CDN).
2 The label verification system communicates directly with the label printer. From its level, you can, for example, order label printing, communicate the number and type of codes that should be on the label, or monitor printing orders.
3 Our system works in 2 modes. The first mode is the standard mode, in which you order the printing of a barcode, for example, from a label program or a Word document, and the printer with the verifier automatically gets information about what type and number of codes should be on the label. The second mode is the advanced mode, in which you order a label to be printed in the form of a graphic or photo, on which the verifier has to locate the barcodes, their type and number on its own. This is where he can make the mistake of overlooking codes that are too deformed, which is leveled by our application, which communicates to the verifier the number and type of codes to be included on the label.
4 During printing, our application collects data by analyzing more than 200 barcode parameters simultaneously (ANSI method). In addition to the code verification data, our application also collects information about the number of labels used, the type of consumables, the date and time of printing, the ordering operator, his login and logout time and many other data, which are then put into very detailed print reports sent to your system.
5 The verification system can help you pinpoint reasons for printing erroneous labels, such as a burnt-out print head, damaged carbon paper or printer pinion, incorrect label size or material, misaligned roll, or even gaps between labels that are too large. At the same time, the barcode verifier built into the printer evaluates the quality of the codes as they are printed.
6 If our system, integrated with the barcode printer, detects any error in the label then it is immediately reversed back to the printer, and it is printed with a distinctive mark (such as a grid) that indicates that it is unusable. If a barcode-related error is detected, our application generates and sends a detailed report on all detected defects and errors straight to your system.
(6) If you want, you can choose that after printing an erroneous label, the system will automatically have it printed again, this time correct. However, this is on a case-by-case basis, determined before designing the application.
What is the advantage of our application?
- With our solution you can manage your prints from within your system.
- You also get 100% assurance that all your labels will be printed correctly.
- A total of more than 200 parameters are checked simultaneously.
- The verification process is virtually instantaneous - label validation takes only a fraction of a second!
- Thanks to the barcode verification system, you will immediately receive notifications of all detected errors and detailed reports of each printout.
- You have full control over the printing of each label and employees: you get the exact time of login, logout, print order, number of labels, or the report of detected errors.
- The system performs a full analysis that does not allow any erroneous label to leave your enterprise.
- You also don't need to invest in a lot of equipment, as all you need is a label printer with a barcode verifier (Honeywell PX940, Printronix ODV-2D T6000e or Printronix ODV-2D T8000).
- The system monitors the consumption of consumables and their type, which allows you to plan supplies.
- The verifier has the ability to create a scan of the entire label, which is then put into a report and sent to your system.
- If a malfunction or erroneous barcode is detected, the system stops the printing process and sends a notification to the manager, along with an error report, which states the possible reason for the failure, as determined by our company's experience.
- You can send the barcode to the label printer for printing in the form of an image or ZPL II code definition.
