Printronix ODV-2D industrial printers of the T8000 series have two versions: 4-inch (T8000 4' ODV-2D) and 6-inch (T8000 6' ODV-2D) maximum print width. These printers are distinguished primarily by their built-in barcode verifier, which evaluates barcodes and examines their correctness, already during the printing process. If the printed barcode is incorrect, the printer will print the incorrect label with a distinctive pattern (such as a checkerboard), and then print the label again, this time with a correctly printed barcode. When the printer detects an incorrectly printed code, it sends a message to the 3.4-inch color LCD display. In addition, it stores all reports of detected errors. The verifier checks up to 50 1D and 2D barcodes at the same time while printing the label. Not only is the correctness and quality of the print verified, but also the code's compliance with ISO standards. In addition to verifying code compliance, data validation is also carried out, all during the label printing process.

The device has navigation buttons that make using the intuitive menu even easier. It has as many as two motors, which allow the Printromix ODV-2D T800 printer to work continuously, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Thanks to automatic heat control, the printer supports longer head life. In addition, the T8000 ODV-2D provides high print quality - 203 dpi (model T8204) and 300 dpi (model T8304). It prints by thermal and thermal transfer, and has wired (Ethernet, GPIO, Parallel, RS-232, USB) and wireless (Wi-Fi standard 802.11ac) interfaces.
