The REA PC-Scan LD4 is a 1D barcode verifier, designed with the highest precision to test the quality of barcodes with a laser beam. It was developed in compliance with the international standards for barcode printing and verification.

The verifier consists of a red laser diode and a special motor, which ensures a constant speed of movement of the scanning head. The code quality verification takes place in two stages. In the first stage, ISO/IEC compliance is checked. In the second, compliance with Symbology specifications and standards is checked.

The display on the verifier indicates the final statement in the form of success or failure and details of the printout, which allows an immediate and accurate analysis of the barcode quality and thus the optimization of the code quality. The REA PC-Scan LD4 is equipped with an automatic contrast calibration function before each scan, allowing the performance to remain constant in relation to changes in light.
